Delivery and Setup is done by a trained professional 

  Delivery and Setup of your Derksen Building


        Required space to Deliver and Set your Building:

• A vertical space of 14' is required. Be sure to take any tree branches and utility wires into account when choosing the location of your building.
•  The driver will need a minimum 2' of additional width over the width you your building to maneuver the truck.  
•  Please take tight turns into account when considering a location.

       Site Preparation 

• Derksen requires that your site be ready for delivery.
•  We are not responsible for making any alterations to fences or other barriers.
•  If you have questions about your site, contact us. We will gladly assist with checking your site to ensure your building will fit.
•  Our buildings are designed to rest directly on their skids. A fairly level location is best. 
•  To level the building we use treated wood blocks. If you would like to have your building on concrete blocks, you may provide the blocks and we will gladly set your building on them. Let us know before delivery  to ensure you have the correct number of blocks needed for your particular building.
•   We will set your building on out of level ground, however additional fees may be applicable.

Your Carport , Garage or Building will be built on location by a team of expert installers.


Site Preparation

• a level area is required for installation
• Installation can be done on dirt/grass or gravel. 
• We will gladly install your product on a concrete pad, however Eagle Carports does not provide Concrete services.

Concrete pad  

• A concrete pad should be the same size as the frame of the building, not larger because water can seep under the base rail and into the building.
• All garage type door should have a door recess in the slab 6" wider than the door and protrude 5-6" inside the building and approximately 1-2" deep. ( a 2x6 works well here.) This will not allow water to enter the building under the door.
